I am also a mama to a wonderful little girl, two crazy chihuahuas and have walked the walk when it comes to weightloss. Losing over 30kg through simple lifestyle changes. Only to gain it back during pregnancy and losing it all over again. So here we are, almost a year later and never felt better.
My mission is to help busy women to create a healthy and fit lifestyle without cutting out the good things in life or spending endless time in the gym. I want to show you that it is possible and guide you through your journey to the best version of yourself.
Here is a little more about my story.
Originally I am from Germany and moved to Australia over 10 years ago. Back then I was overweight, unhealthy, unfit and recovering from a slipped disc in my lower back. Doctors in Germany told me I was too young to have an injury like and that. So here I was, in a new country, new home, no job and not many friends, starting all over again.
Hi there,
That is also when I made the decision to sign up to gym membership. Starting off easy, with just simply walking and a weekly PT session. Soon after completing my first 8 week challenge with amazing results. Eventually digging into the world of nutrition and increasing my training in the gym as well as starting to run. As the time goes on, completing races, from 5km to a Half Marathon, battling and conquering different injuries (back, shoulder & hip) over the past years. 2019 I decided it was time to make my "new" passion my mission and completed my Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness. Shortly after Shape & Tone Personal Training war born, helping women on the Gold Coast getting fit & healthy.
Over the last 2 years, it was time to take the next step and I signed up to to get my Pilates & Yoga Teacher qualifications and shortly after I fell pregnant. Completing my Yoga, Pilates and Yin Yoga in person training while being pregnant and then topping it with my Barre Teacher Training 10 weeks post partum. Saying all that, it sounds like it was easy. No it was not!!! It taught me a lot about my body and how to listen to it and how to adjust movement & life as required.
When I am not in the studio or gym working with my lovely clients, then you find me spending time with my daughter and partner as well as our two little chihuahuas. We love going for walks and try and make it daily. I love spending time in nature and going on walks / hikes with my family, as well as other activities outdoors. And don't forget the occasional coffee catch ups & breakfast dates.
